Kieran has both research and industrial experience designing and developing robotic devices for medical applications. He holds a BEng. (Hons) in Biomedical Engineering from King’s College London, UK, and a MSc. in Biomedical Engineering from Imperial College London, UK.
In 2018, he began serving as a Research Associate at Nanyang Technological University in Singapore, where he designed robotic devices for Stroke rehabilitation, including a novel upper-limb Exosuit that was successfully brought to clinical trials. In 2020, Kieran joined EndoMaster, Singapore, where he held the position of Robotics Control Engineer and later Head of Systems Engineering. He played a key role in the development of their therapeutic Endoscopic robot from initial design phases through to regulatory submission.
Kieran’s goal is to seamlessly integrate AI and robotics in the creation of smart, safe and effective medical devices that improve the quality of patient’s lives. He joigned Caranx Medical in February 2023.
