Claire Corot

Experience / Role at Truffle : Claire started at Guerbet 35 years ago, after completing her hospital and university training. Until now, Claire had spent her entire professional career with this healthcare group, a leader in contrast products, injection devices and medical devices for diagnostic and interventional medical imaging. Claire was a member of the executive comittee. She was Senior VP of Research and Innovation. Claire was primarily working in the fields of Oncology, Neurology, Cardiology, Contrast Media, Interventional Imaging, CT, MRI, Nuclear Medicine, Ultrasound, Optical and Molecular Imaging. She was in charge of managing a pharmaceutical and medical devices portfolio some of which obtained the CE marking. From 2013 to 2020, Claire was also Senior Vice-President of Business Development and Licensing and worked on acquisition of up to 270 million dollars.

Within Truffle, Claire is involved in early and late-stage investment projects. She is part of the strategy aiming to participate in the next medical revolution: convergence between connected bioprothesis, micro-robots, imaging and artificial intelligence.

Claire was promoted to the rank of Chevalier de la Legion d’Honneur. Claire was invited as a guest lecturer at Stanford University as a seasoned expert in her field.

Education: Claire obtained her degree in Biology Pharm D in 1980 in Lyon 1, then her PhD in Biotechnology in 1990 also in Lyon 1. She completed her training with a Master’s degree in Pharmaceutical Marketing at ESCP in 2005 followed by a negotiation course also at ESCP in 2007 and a Business Strategy course at HEC in 2015.
