Corentin Languepin, Ing.

Corentin obtained his Engineering degree (M.Sc.) in Embedded Software and Connected Objects from Grenoble INP – Phelma (2022). He is also holding a Master degree from Ecole Centrale Nantes in Control and Robotics (2023).

During his studies, he worked on robotics projects including an internship in the DEFROST research team at INRIA Lille (2021) where its tasks focused on soft robots in medical application. It developed his passion for surgical robotics that led him to achieve his end-of-studies internship at Caranx Medical to design and test an autonomous module used during the TAVI procedure.

His research interests include mechatronics, surgical robotics and robotic modeling.

Corentin joined Caranx Medical as a Mechatronics engineer in September 2023.  He is focusing on mechanical design, but also the creation and test of prototypes on surgical robots.
