Washington Aguirre Duran, Ing.

Washington is a software engineer with a  background in electronic engineering and extensive experience in software development.
He graduated in 2017 from the University of Genoa with a Bachelor and Master degree in Electronic Engineering. After graduation, he moved to Nice, France, and began his career in the software industry with Amadeus, where he worked for almost 4 years focusing on backend development global distribution systems (GDS) for airlines.

In 2023, he transitioned to the healthcare industry, joining GE Healthcare.  He was the main developer and product owner, overseeing the entire software cycle for a product required by the FDA to automatically check the health of ultrasonic probes. Washington was responsible of coordinating a team of software development in India, the ultrasound engineers and the console users for the requirements.
In summer 2024, he joined the Caranx team.
